Wilhelminahaven is part of bigger Rotterdam’s old haven evolving towards mixed-use districts. As in Rotterdam, the area is outdated but has a lot of potential due to its historical buildings and its location. We did an extended multi-analysis to share with all stakeholders (space, history, people, market, environment, politics…).

Thanks to collaborative processes, principles have been chosen and we could imagine different possible scenarios that would answer more or less to expecting results. Each scenario shows a program, a market position depending on the scale, a masterplan concept , an organic strategic development scheme and a mood board. Stakeholders chose one scenario to give to spatial designers that further developed the project.
