Longwy has a rich and industrial past. Unfortunately it became few by few a sleeping city and a cheap place to leave for people working in Luxemburg. Indeed is the banks city just a few 30 kms away. Therefore and not only, the place has a huge potential. It has a historical citadel from Vauban registered at the UNESCO and a know-how in pottery internationally renowned. It has a huge former industrial site that is now a natural area very close to the centre.<\/p>\n

The city sees there an opportunity to create a leisure place with a golf course as \u201cteaser\u201d especially for international well off and wealthy customers from Luxemburg. With a total leisure concept we hope to be able with the local actors to revitalize Longwy and make it a real place to live and to experience.<\/p>\n

Together with Wisma and\u00a0HBC<\/a>, we established a quick scan analysis (space, mobility, nature, climate, politics, identity, functions, people) and started a quick program for a city-centre revitalization beginning\u00a0with a leisure complex project around golf activities.<\/p>\n\r\n\t
